Also known as share protection insurance this type of policy is designed to protect the partners of a business in the event of death. Especially if there are multipal partners in a firm the death of one of them can cause a lot of issues and hardship. Having this type of cover in place means that there is one less thing to worry about, it provides the remaining partners a lump sum to allow them to purchase the deceased partners share of the business from their next of kin.

In the event of an accident or illness to a key member of a business the resulting loss of income to the business can be substancial, arranging a policy will provide an income that can used to replace the member of staff helping to reduce the impact on the business.
